On January 15, 2013, the Los Gatos Saratoga High School Board approved New Tech High at Los Gatos High School.

The marketing materials for this program are very compelling.  But take a closer look.  Notice that no testing data are included in the materials.

Coppell High School in Dallas, Texas, a high performing high school in Dallas, Texas,  was presented to the Board as a school which adopted the New Tech Networks program.  The student body at Coppell High School is now split between a traditional program and the New Tech Networks program that will now be offered at Los Gatos High School.  This graph summarizes the AP test results for the two student populations using the latest data reported by the State of Texas.
